I completed my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Guangzhou, China, beginning in 2012. After five years of rigorous training in both Chinese and Western medical theories, I graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in TCM. Recognizing the importance of specialization, I chose to pursue advanced studies in Acupuncture and Moxibustion at the University of Hong Kong’s School of Chinese Medicine. Following two years of dedicated study, I earned my Master’s degree in Acupuncture and passed the registration examination in Hong Kong, which allowed me to begin independent practice in 2018.

Initially, I worked at a walk-in clinic for two years, gaining valuable experience across a broad spectrum of patient cases. Subsequently, I established my own small-scale clinic to better serve a growing patient base. This transition enabled me to handle a diverse range of conditions effectively, leveraging both my TCM expertise and insights from Western medicine.

During my studies, I benefited from two months of orthopedic surgery training, which enhanced my ability to address musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries. My approach combines the strengths of both Chinese and Western medicine to provide tailored treatment for varying degrees of muscle and skeletal issues.

In herbal medicine, my focus includes treating skin conditions, menopausal syndromes, pediatric digestive disorders, and infertility. These areas have yielded consistently positive outcomes for my patients. Additionally, over the past two years, I have expanded my practice to include facial acupuncture aimed at reducing signs of aging. This non-invasive technique also incorporates facial skeletal adjustments to improve bite alignment and facial symmetry, optimizing overall facial contours.

My practice continues to evolve as I integrate innovative methods into traditional frameworks to deliver comprehensive care for diverse patient needs.

Hi! First things first, my name is pronounced “Keeva”. My family is from Northern Ireland and my name is Gaelic. This is always the first question I receive when I meet someone new so I thought we would get that out of the way first. From a young age I knew I wanted to be a Physiotherapist because I was enamoured by the way these professionals knew how to fix me when I was injured from playing sports. I spent my childhood competing at an elite level both in soccer and figure skating. It wasn’t until my nineteenth year that I gave up the dream to be in the Olympics to pursue a university education. I studied Biology in New Hampshire while on a soccer scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology Magna Cum Laude. From there I went on to Daemen College in Amherst, NY to study Physiotherapy. I graduated in 2010 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Since then, I have been assisting people in their journeys to recovery and honing my skill set along the way. From relieving someone of their pain, to facilitating their return to sport/exercise, to reaching a goal they never thought possible, is by far the most rewarding aspect of my job, I would say I have a special interest in shoulder injuries and cervical spine injuries, however I treat everything. I share my life with my partner and our 4 beautiful girls. We spend a lot of our time with our extended family and dancing in the kitchen!
